Brighter side.

Heute (bzw. gestern) habe ich wieder einmal die Welt mit meiner Kamera erkundet (Ja, sie hat endlich den Weg nach Lausanne gefunden ^^). Mir war gar nicht bewusst, wie sehr ich das Fotografieren vermisst habe und wie befreiend das Ganze sein kann. Ich liebe es Musik zuhören und planlos durch die Strassen zu irren und mich überraschen zu lassen. Auf der Suche nach einem Sujet wechsle ich automatisch in eine Art Suchmodus. Dabei nehme ich die Umgebung intensiver wahr als sonst (nein, ich bin nicht auf Drogen :D) und achte mich besonders auf Details. Kennt glaube ich jeder, der fotografiert ;)?! Ein nicht unwichtiger Teil findet nach der Tour auch noch am PC statt. Ich gebe zu, meine Fotokünste sind noch sehr entwicklungsfähig. Ich bin ein Photoshopjunkie. Glaubt mir, mit raw kann man noch einiges aus den Fotos rausholen! Aber zumindest der Bildaufbau und Schärfe muss schon vorgängig stimmen, sonst bringt auch die beste Korrektur nicht viel. Ich schraube vor allem an den Farben rum. Zu viel retouschieren ist nicht mein Ding. Wie viel man rumkorrigiert ist natürlich jedem selbst überlassen. Es kann auch ganz toll sein, damit Sachen hervorzuheben, die man sonst nicht unbedingt wahrnehmen würde oder durch die Bearbeitung den Betrachter in eine Phantasiewelt zu entführen. Aber genug kitschiges Rumgelaber für heute :D!

// Today (or yesterday), I explored the world with my camera again (Yes, it has finally found the way to Lausanne ^^). I didn’t realize how much I missed taking pictures and how relaxing it is. I love listening to music and wander aimlessly trough the streets to get surprised. While I’m looking for a motif I change automatically to kind of a search mode. This makes me noticing the environment more intense than usually (no, I’m not on drugs :D) and seeing so many details. I think everyone who photographs knows what I mean ;)?! A not insignificant part is also the editing on the computer after the tour. I admit that my photo skills are still very developable. I’m a Photoshop junkie. Believe me, with raw you can get the most out of your pictures! But the image formation and the sharpness must already be fine, otherwise even the best correction can’t help. I edit the colours and don’t do a lot of retouching. But how much people do retouching is up to them. It can be great to point out something you wouldn’t have recognized very well or taking people to a fantasy world. But enough kitschy blabla for today :D!
